i feel like if my english teacher looked at any other art form aside from literature, she'd still go, 'now what is the symbolism in this?'

and heck yea, symbolism is always in pictures.. but in books? not so much, woman. i think she puts way too much thought into that stuff. sometimes, things can just be how they appear, right?
